Individual Birthday Cake - Jasmine 2D image

It was a challenge to make this kind of decoration. We had to adjust first the image to the size of the cake and then print the image on paper. The cake was a 20cm round cake.

I cut the image on paper bassically into 2 parts: hair part and face and body part. This is needed to make the exact template of the picture.

After I then cut the fondant according to the templates, I have to let  the fondant dry a little before I can move it to place it on the cake.

For finishing I used luster dust and black colour to give more live to the hair and the jeweleries of Jasmine.

So, each individual cake is a new challenge.
