Individual Birthday Cake - Jasmine 2D image

It was a challenge to make this kind of decoration. We had to adjust first the image to the size of the cake and then print the image on paper. The cake was a 20cm round cake.

I cut the image on paper bassically into 2 parts: hair part and face and body part. This is needed to make the exact template of the picture.

After I then cut the fondant according to the templates, I have to let  the fondant dry a little before I can move it to place it on the cake.

For finishing I used luster dust and black colour to give more live to the hair and the jeweleries of Jasmine.

So, each individual cake is a new challenge.

Yesterday we had just delivered a wedding cake to Bayan Tree. The wedding cake was for chinese couples who celebrated their wedding there. Thank you to Mr. Deni at My Wedding KSOY.

The wedding cake was a 3 tiers wedding cake. We chose 3 different flavors for the cake:

- Chocolate Mud

- Vanilla

- Marble

The cakes were covered by fondant. The decoration was hand made fondant roses. We put some gold colour to make the cake more elegant.

IKA Bali Cake creates cakes according to individual design. What we normally do is either to get an image of the cake we have to make or the description of the design. We then make hand drawing out of it and send this to our customer for confirmation. If the drawing is confirmed then we make the cake.

So simple as that.
